Former President Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris are in a tight race in recent polling as the presidential campaign reaches its final stages, with Harris seemingly losing support among Latino and Black voters.
A new USA TODAY/Suffolk University Poll shows Harris at 45% and Trump at 44%.
In August, the same poll indicated Harris had a stronger lead over Trump, 48% to 43%, following the Democratic National Convention. The latest survey, conducted from October 14-18 with 1,000 likely voters via landline and cell phone, has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percentage points.
